Opened in December 2024, our coffee shop is a family-owned labor of love by Tom Frith and Leslie Haan. Nestled right next to 1st Reserve whiskey bar, our space brings a touch of island warmth to downtown Dubuque with inspiration drawn from Isla Mujeres—a vibrant village paradise off the coast of Cancun that Tom and Leslie visit often and hold close to their hearts. With its laid-back spirit, our café invites everyone to slow down, stay a while, and enjoy quality coffee in good company. Whether you’re grabbing your first cup of the day or settling in for a quiet moment, you’ll always be welcome here.
Food & Beverages
We offer a thoughtfully curated menu featuring house-made syrups and flavors, carefully crafted coffee and espresso drinks, and a seasonal rotation of specialty items you won’t find anywhere else in Dubuque. Our in-house baker prepares all of our bakery goods from scratch, including breakfast croissants, bagels, homemade quiche, cinnamon rolls, muffins, and weekly specialty treats. For heartier fare, we serve avocado toast, croissant sandwiches, paninis, BLTs, and a variety of lunch specialties that change throughout the year.
